PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. 1 year old female Poodle mix, about 12 pounds. Hi, my name is Dayna! I'm cute, cuddly and very affectionate. There's nothing better than getting pets from my people. I'm a puppy and still have some of that puppy energy and will do best with a family that has time to continue my training. I love to play with my toys and other puppies but am also happy just spending a lazy day on the couch. I've been doing well with potty training but still need consistent breaks to make sure I don't have an accident. I do great with other dogs, but I'm not sure how I will be with young children or cats. I don't bark much but might do better in a house rather than an apartment. I'm also good in a crate when needed, but at night I'm happiest sleeping in a bed on the floor next to my people. I will do best with a family that has experience with non-shedding dogs, as I will require regular grooming to keep my coat nice and free of knots. Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Puppies are adopted with a refundable spay/neuter deposit (in addition to the adoption fee) and adopters are required to get their puppy to our vet for their pre-scheduled spay-neuter appointments. You must live within a three-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), so we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
