Frieda has a nice moderate energy level. She loves to run and play outside, but has also done well in our smaller Seattle home since her transition. She likes a couple of walks each day, and is learning quickly to walk with a loose leash. Like many shepherds, she can be a little shy with new people, but once she has bonded, she's very relaxed and she gets along great with other dogs and cats. Because she can initially be nervous meeting new people, we would love to see her in a home with someone with breed experience who wants to continue to work on basic training foundations and socializing. Someone who has some patience for the slow introduction she needs when interacting with new people is a must. Frida is a lovely healthy girl, spayed and up to date on vaccines. We believe she would thrive with an individual or family that she can form a close bond with, especially if she has a job to do around the house or property. Because of her size and shy nature, a home with older calm children would be best. We have known Frieda most of her life and will be sad to part with her, but we are looking for the right home that can give her more attention than we can at the moment! Frieda is currently fostered in Seattle and available for meet and greets to pre-approved adopters. Adoption fee $150 Apply online at bigdogrescueproject.org/adopt
