About Dewey

Meet Dewey! Dewey is a 7mo/40 lb Cattle Dog / German Shepherd mix, he's going to get bigger - probably about 60lbs. As described by his foster, 'Dewey is a total gem of a dog. Kind, gentle, eager to learn, affectionate and loyal are the characteristics that come to mind first and those make him a solid little pup in my book. This guy is a winner all around!!' Dewey is great on the leash, crate trained and working on house training, ideally he would love to have a person with herding dog experience with plenty of time to spend with him, and an active lifestyle that would include him. Dewey would prefer an adult only home or a family with older children as he is a bit cautious and timid at times. Dewey is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He was rescued from the Riverside Shelter.
