About Shrek

Adoption Fee: $475
Australian Cattle Dog mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Shrek is a handsome, sweet boy. He is about 9 months old and weighs about 40 lbs. He will stay medium sized. He has short legs and chunky body. He loves water and going on walks. He is very submissive with other dogs except for when around food, then he can be a little dominant, but he eats in a kennel with 3 other dogs with no issues. But during play and on walks and any other interactions, he is very submissive. He shows no aggression at all. He is also great around cats. He is a bit timid with new people, but he wags his tail and wants to be loved. He would do great in a home kiddos or as daily adventure companion for a couple or individual. He was rescued from a small, rural shelter in Oklahoma where he and his sister Fiona were slated to be euthanized. Our rescue pulled them out at the last minute. He is currently still in Oklahoma but can only be adopted out of state where people care about their animals. We have transports going to Washington State (Seattle/Tacoma), Oregon (Portland and Eugene), Colorado (Ft Lupton, Wisconsin and Illinois (Appleton is final destination but can stop anywhere along the freeway), New York (Albany), and Connecticut (Enfield). He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport. If for some reason he doesn't work out in your home, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on the next transport. Shrek is a very deserving, sweet boy who will bring you lots of joy and smiles. Vetting: neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 4, lepto vaccine x 2, lyme vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, heartworm tested, on monthly heartworm prevention, on monthly flea and tick prevention.
