About Linus

Linus would make such a great family dog. He's calm, low energy and maintenance, and sweet with people. He likes to be pet, but he doesn't need your attention 24/7. He's happy to amuse himself for a time. He's easy to walk on a leash and doesn't pull at all and he's already potty trained. He takes treats very gently from your hand too - no snatching from this gentleman! We hear a lot of people say they want puppies for their family pet to grow up with their children, but most of the time an older dog is a more practical decision. They require less work and energy than a puppy does, and they already have some manners so you're not starting training from scratch. Linus is a 6YO Staffie. He's both quiet and respectful with people. He came into the shelter with another dog, and we'd be happy to help you introduce him to any existing family pets to help make sure they'll get along. Linus is a 6YO Staffordshire who came into the shelter as a stray on 2/14/23. He weighs 38 lbs.
