About Jerry

*PHOENIX METRO AREA ONLY* Jerry is an 18 month old, 75 pound Bull Terrier mix who came to us when his owners did not come to claim him from the county shelter and he was in danger of being euthanized, so we had to save him. He's a BIG, playful, happy boy. Jerry will need an adopter who will give him regular exercise, discipline, obedience training, and lots of love! He's a good boy who did not get enough socialization and guidance as a young pup but he listens well, has an even temperament, and learns quickly. He would love a good size yard and will need patient owners who will help him remember his manners, and treat him to hikes, runs, and play time. With proper introductions, he will do okay with other well balanced dogs especially his size or slightly smaller. We do not know his history, so don't know how he is with children but because of his size, so a home without younger children would be best. Any children in the home would need to be at least 12-14 years of age and have had experience with large dogs. Jerry is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.
