About Walter

Volunteer favorite will be put to sleep soon! Walter is loved by all the volunteers. So it is heartbreaking that he's about to be put to sleep at the Martinez shelter on Sept 1. He needs a foster! Walter is listed as 4 years old and is a beautiful german shepherd dog mix. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Shelter volunteers have made the following notes about him: He is an easy-going dog. Loves to play, but walks well on leash. Bonds very quickly and loves people. He has won the hearts of so many! Note: Walter has been friendly with other dogs but due to the stress of the shelter, it is recommended he be an only dog, at least until he has had a chance to decompress.
