Hello My name is Beauty and I am in need of a new home. I am a mixed breed youngster of a lot of different breeds. I am mostly black but I have these white and grayish lines of hair, but I prefer to say they are my dog tattoos that I was born with. I am fun loving, very silly especially before going outside, very obedient and love to be petted and hugged.I am up to date on all of my vaccinations and I receive regular veterinary care. Sadly, I made a mistake and the reason that I need to find a new home is due to an accident that occurred a number of weeks ago with my little sister dog, Miss Button. While Mom was out of the home, I don't really know exactly what happen but Mom says there seemed to have been a confrontation between me and my sister and a single, terribly placed bite from me resulted in the death of my much smaller sister. Miss Button was brought to our vet to be evaluated, and they suspect that it was a 'warning' or 'knock it off' snap/bite that landed in a very dangerous location with respect to her organs and proved fatal. There were no other marks on her, other than the two small punctures, and we have never been aggressive towards each other . . . quite the opposite in fact. We were great friends, and often%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%A0played chase especially in the afternoon, we slept together quite often and spent time laying around in the dining room wishing we could go outside. I didn't even have an issue with Miss Button taking over my big bed. She was my best friend and I still look for her. I don't really understand where she is or what Mom did with her. While the situation did not present as an aggression driven mauling, some of my family members, that were already uncomfortable with larger dogs, are no longer comfortable being in the home with me and have expressed a fear that I might somehow become aggressive towards people (which is not a behavior I have ever shown before or after the accident). I would like to do everything that I can to both respect my family's concerns, and find a home (most likely as a single dog and/or with experienced owners who are comfortable with my history) so that my Mom does not have to put me down. My Mom has reached out to a behavior specific vet in NYC, and we are going to schedule a behavioral/temperament evaluation of me to help better understand what may have happened as well as my personality . . . and hope that this is also provides additional information to rescue groups that may be able to help, as well as with potential adoptive families. My Mom is aware that the fact that I bit my sister dog, which resulted in her death, is something that on the surface makes me a difficult dog to place, but she knows fully that I am sweet and loving and she'd like to give me every chance at a new beginning.%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD%BD
