Hello, we found this guy dumped near our neighborhood (Houston, Tx) and could not leave him on the street. We have begun his vetting but are a bit overwhelmed with other fosters and our own pack (3 of our own dogs, 2 fosters, and about to get a 3rd foster 'returned' from a home trial). The Vet believes that Tyson is a Rottie mix due to his build and physique. Overall, he is very sweet/affectionate to people (including a small child, briefly) and has been pretty compliant / easy to manage. He has not been introduced to our other dogs yet so we do not know about animal aggression. He is not food aggressive from what we've seen and does behave well on a leash, see video here. Tyson already knows how to sit and is very comfortable with crating. Medical report: Tyson is on medicine for a skin infection, ear mites, steroids, and a dewormer. Vaccines will start once these things get cleaned up. Tyson is HW+ but it is believed to be low/mild and slow-kill has been advised by the Vet. He is UN-altered but we would ensure that his neuter would be taken care of before transferring him to another foster or home. Is there anyone that could help?! We are dog lovers and want to do right by Tyson.
