About Solara

**Courtesy post** Come meet Solara, and you will be in LOVE the moment you meet her. Solara is a two-year-old spayed pitbull terrier/lab retriever mix (55 lbs.) who can brighten up anyone's day with her affectionate demeanor and playful personality . Volunteers call her a social butterfly because she's the happiest being around people and will shower you with love . During our time together, Solara has demonstrated great walking skills - loose leash, minimal pulling, attentive to handler, takes gently and knows 'sit' 'down' as well as vocal cues. She has shown no reactivity while passing other dogs on walks, however, Solara needs to be your ONE and ONLY pet in the home. She has an affiliative personality who's favorite hobbies include belly rubs, wiggling on the grass and playing with squeaky toys/tennis balls . She LOVES the water. Solara would make a great walking, jogging or hiking partner as well as a great cuddle buddy on the couch. She is up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. Solara would prefer a household with older children.
