About Banshee

**COURTESY POST** Phoenix AZ. Fur The Paws Rescue Inc. A member of our community has reached out to us to help them find this beautiful girl a fur-ever home! She was originally adopted from county in January 2023 and given to a friend of the foster's daughter in February. Circumstances with the friend necessitated she rehome the dog or go back to county, so his daughter brought her home and they are fostering her. Banshee was listed at county as a Shepherd/Husky mix who is approximately 2yrs old. She weighs about 35-40lbs. She has a gorgeous all white coat and smoldering brown eyes! She is spayed, UTD on shots and microchipped. Her personality is energetic...she is a working breed...loving, sweet and playful. She gets along great with the fosters like sized dog. She is non-reactive and great on a leash. Banshee is potty and dog door trained. A reminder to possible adopters: Banshee is a working breed mix who is highly intelligent and active. This breed will entertain themself (and usually not in a good way) if not physically and mentally stimulated properly. She will need an active lifestyle and will be a great travel and hiking buddy. Knowledge and experience with this breed are preferred. If not for this amazing family who stepped up to foster this precious girl....she would have ended up on the euthanasia list at county. We NEED more community members just like this family. Shelters and rescues are filled over capacity and in order to save more lives we need more fosters.
