About Doodle

Meet Doodle!! Doodle came from a high kill shelter in NC. He is around 1.5 y/o, 45lbs but gaining some much needed weight , neutered, HW negative, and UTD on all his vaccines. From his foster: 'Doodle is a beauty and clumsy, But when he runs he floats and prances like a deer. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. The Ibizan/pharaoh hound is a sight and scent hound and is absolutely amazing! He is extremely smart, friendly, and obedient. House trained and crate trained. Knows commands sit, down, stay (mostly) and kennel. He doesn't bark, he doesn't beg, he's not rude -- he's just an overall wonderful family pet! He should have an active family as he has a lot of energy and really needs at least one dog fur-sibling around the same age and or weight with energy to match his. And he LOVES kids! Cats are unknown at this time but we're hoping to test him soon. Being recently out of the shelter, he is afraid of loud noises and is comforted by his person's touch but he continues to gain confidence every day! He is very affectionate to dogs and people!
