Oso is a very sweet boy, but he takes a little bit of time to warm up to you. He was surrendered by his previous owners after he went into a heat stroke. We were lucky enough to be able to save this handsome man to where he is now ready to find his perfect loving home. We aren't sure how he does with any other animals or kids yet. Please consider Oso to be apart of your family. Please contact us or Summit Veterinary Hospital (979) 315-1999 for more information on him! Oso is neutered and microchipped. He is current on all vaccines and dewormed. Our adoption process begins with you meeting Oso. Feel free to schedule a play date with him and your existing dog(s). After you fill out an application, we will verify your references and do a brief home inspection. If all goes well, we will deliver Oso to you for a small adoption fee. We then ask that you sign our adoption contract. We will do a follow-up visit approximately two weeks to one month after the adoption to ensure that Oso is adjusting well to his new home and that he is happy and healthy. We feel our adoption process is the best way to vet good owners and to guard against people seeking dogs for dog fighting, bait dogs, and/or dog sales. We only have our rescue dogs' best interest in mind and we do everything we can to ensure that they go to the very best home and that it's the perfect fit.
