Campbell has had a rough beginning. He somehow ended up in a rural shelter and spent the last 3 months in a small cement kennel there. Campbell was not doing well there. He lost weight and was distraught in his kennel. Eventually he was given a final hold date and was about to be euthanized when our rescue pulled him into emergency foster. Campbell has already improved drastically being in a home. He is house trained and lays quietly when left alone. He knows 'sit' very well, will wait patiently for a treat, so he is a quickand smart learner! He just needs a loving human to teach him! He likes to rest on a dog bed but also enjoys a long walk, hike, or run. His favorite toy is a long rope for tug of war and he also likes to run around with a tennis ball and play in the water from a hose. Campbell is great with adults and will bond quickly. He would love to have an active owner that likes to go on long walks. This sweetheart has been through alot, so a quieter calm home, without all the usual hustle, bustle, chaos that comes with kids!! And where he can be the sole provider of puppy kisses for his humans, where he can be your center of attention and get all the love and attention he deserves, would be ideal! Cats probably aren't a good idea either. I mean, really, they are cats after all!! Campbell is current on vaccinations, is heartworm negative and our rescue will get him neutered before he goes to an adopter. So, if you or someone you know are interested in adopting Campbell. Please contact KENNEDY by email or text at (802)673-9026. NOTE: Campbell is currently in foster in the South. Transport will be scheduled for him to be brought to the Northeastern states for serious adopters only.
