About Bandit

Bandit is a 3 1/2 year old neutered male German Shepherd. He was a puppy of the pandemic so there weren't many opportunities to socialize him. He loves to play fetch, swim and play with the hose. He is alert with strangers and very playful and sweet with our family and friends, but we usually have to monitor his first encounter with friends, as he is very energetic and wants to greet them with excitement. He tends to be dominant when encountering other dogs, but if he has a leashed/controlled introduction, they can get along and play. We have trained Bandit with basic commands and he's obedient, specially when treats are involved. He is very smart and understood where he needed to go potty in his first week home, when he was 3 months old. Lately we have been unable to satisfy Bandit's exercise/interaction requirements and he has been getting anxious and defensive with my young daughter, so we're looking to rehome him to someone who can devote more time to him.
