About Nova

Nova is a beautiful 5 year old dark chocolate lab/pitt mix available for adoption! She is spayed and micro-chipped . Housebroken, crate trained and does well in car rides. Based on my experience, Nova should be the only pet in the home. She's great on a leash and thoroughly enjoys going out for walks. Although she likes to be outside, she prefers to be around her people. Nova loves attention and affection. Nova is in my care resulting from dog rescue for which I've been doing the past ten years. I find them, house them, care for them until I'm able to find a more suitable home. Nova will be the last rescue as I have cancer. It's been a daily struggle to care for myself and a huge financial strain. I believe that Nova would do best in a home adults, or adults with young teens. I would love to see her have an opportunity to live her best life amongst family, life, joy and laughter. Ever since I found out that I have cancer, she has become over protective of me and my home. Had I been paying attention to the shift in her demeanor, I may have known sooner that I was sick.
