About Gibbs

Gibbs is a 10 month old sweet playful people and dog loving puppy!! He is very affection and loves to give kisses and roll over for that all important belly rub. He was pulled from a kill shelter hours before his time was up and he is furever grateful. He is currently in a foster home with lots of other dogs and two of them have taken him under their paws and is teaching him how to be a puppy!! Gibbs loves his walks, chewing his toys and running in the yard with the other dogs. He weighs 47 lbs and will continue to grow but shouldn't be an overly large boy! A fenced yard and another playful dog are a MUST for this active boy! He is crate trained and doing VERY WELL on his house training. While at the shelter he was limping but since being in a home and getting some much needed rest, no more limping. We did x-rays and it appears that he was hit in the back leg but a blunt object or kicked but no surgery is needed because he is still growing and his growth plates are not fully developed. We have him on a good joint supplement and he should be fine with the exception of some potential arthritis in his later years. This sweetie needs a home where he will be loved furever!!! Are the the active family for this awesome boy???? ** All of our Wigglers are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, hw tested/treated, and on preventatives. Most of our adoptable dogs need fenced in yards or an exercise regimen. We require proof spanning 2 consistent years of HW preventatives for already owned pets, UTD on shots, and spay/neuter in order to adopt. Please read their description above closely.
