About Fiddle

*** URGENT ) Fiddle needs a forever home by Fri 9/8 as her current foster mom will be traveling! *** --------///------- Fiddle is a 2.5 year old, apx 50 pounds Boxer mix who was saved from euthanasia due to overcrowding at a SC shelter. Her foster family took her in with the hope of finding her a forever home while saving her from something so terrible. She is caring, energetic, funny, playful, and laid-back. She occasionally howls as the train passes by, but that is the most noise she makes. At the shelter, she had a skin irritation that was so severe that she was losing fur and had a few open wounds. They weren't sure what was going on at the time, but with TLC (omega-3 supplements, good quality poultry-free dog food, medicated baths, etc.), her coat is now beautiful! She is no longer on medication and she appears to be much happier. She loves everyone she meets and is good with very social/playful/easy-going dogs, especially with gradual introduction. She's not really fond of overbearing, in-your-face 'rude' pups. Fiddle would appreciate having someone around or even another dog to keep her company. She isn't fond of a crate (which could be because she was in the shelter for so long), and she prefers to be free to roam the house which is fine because she is well-behaved and non-destructive. All in all, Fiddle is a wonderful girl that will make an amazing family pet! Please consider opening your heart and home to this deserving girl!
