About Jolene

Adoption Fee: 50
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Meet Jolene, she is almost 5yrs old, spayed female. Jolene is an HBPets Alumni, she arrived at our shelter in 2020 with 34 other cats and kittens from a hoarding house. Jolene was adopted a few months after arriving, but struggled in her new home, her litter box was in a heavily trafficked area, causing Jolene to seek privacy to use the restroom. We made lots of recommendations, the most important was moving her litter box to a private area, after almost 3yrs, Jolene's adopter brought her back. Jolene spent a lot of time hiding in her old home, it was loud and a lot of people in a small place. Since being back, we have worked on getting her confidence up, she is more social and loving. As far as the litter box, she has no issues with using it, as long as it is not in a walkway, after all we all want some privacy. Jolene is currently living with 2 other cats named Agee and Zinc. Jolene lived with dogs and children prior to 2020. She can be shy, but warms up quickly. We are currently working on weight loss. Jolene loves to be up high and we have trained her to come down for pets, by tapping on the step below, she would love a home where she can watch birds, monitor the house, get loves when she is ready and of course be able to sun bathe! Reduced adoption fee, Thank you Susan for you kind donation towards Jolene's adoption fee. My adoption fee is $50: This includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, microchip, dewormer, flea treatment and a 1 pound bag of food they are currently *** You don't need an appointment to visit our cats, here is what you need to know: 1.
