About Pogo

Pogo is a 17 month old german Shepard. He had his front left leg amputated after falling off a retaining wall. He was neglected and abused by previous owners, and as a result of that trauma and the trauma of the amputation his stress and anxiety level is high. That said I have seen no signs of aggression although his agitated state sometimes works up other dogs. He's very very smart and listens well. He sticks close to me and never wanders off. He chases cats but it's more bark than bite. I am exiting a relationship, and I have an old golden retriever to take care of. Truth is we can give him a good home but at this current stage in life he's not getting my best effort or the attention he deserves. Pogo want so badly to be somebody's number one and unfortunately I have my number one. I won't give him up to a worse life, but he could be an amazing dog for the right person.
