We found honeybunch curled up on an old blanket on our front porch during a cold front last November. Severely underweight and covered in fleas, ticks, and wounds we brought her inside warmed her up and fed her. We took her to the vet and had her checked over and vaccinated as well as wormed. She is now healthy and happy. It is time for her to find her forever family. She is extremely shy especially with men. But with some treats, a soft voice, and some patience she will become your best friend. We have not seen her around children so I do not know how she will react with them. She isn't overly aggressive with other dogs but does get extremely jealous and protective so we have kept her separated from our own. She pretty much ignores cats other than the occasional attempt to play. She has no concept of personal space which can make her a bit overbearing at times. She knows a couple of basic commands and is very treat motivated and has proven pretty easy to train. She is mostly leash trained but still pulls pretty hard when visually stimulated. She has a severe heat stroke scar down her back and some bite marks on her face. We're guessing she escaped a pretty bad situation. If you would like more pics or videos please email or text me.
