Our family adopted Fred from the pound in Dec. 2016. He was found on the street with no collar, so we have little background info about him. We believe he's around 9 and a Rhodesian Ridgeback-Pitbull/Boxer mix. Fred is a sweet dog who loves people well. He's energetic and playful always wanting to be outside playing with his soccer ball (or really any ball). Our family loves Fred, but he's a highly anxious dog with aggressive tendencies, and as we have aged, we are no longer the right home for Fred. Fred's biggest problem is other dogs which he's aggressive towards. Fred has gotten out of the yard and bit other dogs on several occasions. We have noticed this trend towards other animals as well as he chases squirrels, birds, and any other creatures. He has never bit a person, but he is very territorial around the yard with strangers. He takes anxiety medication every day to reduce his stress and aggressiveness. In the right home, Fred will be great, but sadly that's no longer with us.
