About Duke

Hello, We are trying to rehome our dog 'duke' he is a bid boy, 110 lb. Germ��n shepherd mix with Belgian Malinois, he is an alpha dog. He didn't have much contact with other humans other than my wife and I. also we have two kids but he don't like kids. We just move to Mesa, Az in June due to changes in my health. We moved from TN to AZ and we are living with my in-laws and that became a problem because last week duke bite my mother in law hand. Back in Tennessee we had friends over and never had an issue with duke, he like most of adults but he like his personal space as well. very smart dog. This is no the cuddle type dog if he is not comfortable with you also he is a protector. He plays rough because he is a big dog not a chihuahua. Now since the incident we can not keep duke at my in-laws house and we need to rehome him. the other option is to put him in a shelter but that wont be fair for him, i think. I'm trying to find a good adult couple o single person with NO kIDS, to give him another opportunity and a better home. We are running out of time and if we can not find a good home for him we will have to take him to a local shelter.
