About Momo

Momo is a sweet, cuddly, happy 2 year old Japanese akita/ Alaskan malamute mix. We have to move into a smaller place and are unable to bring her with us as she can't be left home alone due to anxiety. She will be okay in an impact crate but we cannot afford one. She lives with a male shar pei and he is the only dog she gets along with. She was socialized well growing up but became reactive and dog aggressive once she hit sexual maturity and had gotten into small fights with her housemate dog. Its been hard to rehome her since she can't be with other animals unsupervised. She does well on walks if she has a gentle leader and we have found ways to manage her reactivity. It breaks our hearts to have to give her up but we are trying everything we can before taking her to a shelter.
