About Kiwi

I have a mixed breed female (boxer and coonhound) dog. She is 4 yrs old and I got her when she was a puppy. She grew up with another dog (boxer) and they always got along fine. She started showing signs of wanting to be alpha like resource guarding mainly food when she was 3. Then I moved from FL to GA had to put her in kennel with my other dog for first time and she was attacked in her kennel by another dog. And with the move also being unsettled she was still resource guarding any food and would attack my other dog but never fully bit him - no wounds. She also took a little time to feel comfortable with new people especially males was easier to take to females. I recently got married and she does not like my husbands dog bigger than she is and they have fought with wounds. Finally placed her in a shelter up here in GA mountains has been there for several months now and they called me today and said she bit one of their employees (male) while trying to get her bowl. They do not think they can put her up for adoption and would be sending her to animal control where they would most like euthanize her. I will be picking her back up Monday but reaching out to see any other place that could take her or work with her. She truly can be a sweet dog too but if she's scared or unsettled then she reacts this way. I am trying to save her from being put down. Please help me.
