About Layla

Layla is the kind of dog who leads with her heart. This sweet, beautiful Lab mix has nothing but love to give and a gentle soul that truly shines once she bonds with her person. With her gorgeous coloring and affectionate nature, she's the type of companion who becomes family very quickly. Layla is a social butterfly and gets along wonderfully with other dogs-especially those her size-and would love a canine buddy to run and play with. She has a good amount of energy and would thrive in an active home with a secure, fenced yard where she can stretch her legs and enjoy the outdoors. While she's still working on perfecting her leash skills, she already knows some basic commands and is both house-trained and crate-trained. What really makes Layla special is her sensitivity and deep emotional awareness. She forms strong bonds with her humans and shows wonderful qualities of a therapy or support dog. Because of this, a home where someone works from home or is around often would be an ideal fit for her. Layla is about 5 years old, weighs around 50 pounds, is healthy, spayed, and fully vaccinated.
