About Wally

Introducing Wally, a dog who has somehow survived all the cruelties that life has thrown at him and still has the sweetest disposition! Wally was found wandering the land in Sampson County, NC, and is now in the safe custody of a rescuer in the area, but he needs a foster home while he recuperates from his past experiences. The poor guy is very emaciated and only weighs 40 pounds. He is little more than a skeleton but anyone who meets him is enamoured by his easy ways and gentle nature. The videos show that he is good with other dogs and cats and he didn't even complain when he got a bath! Such a good sport! Wally definitely has some bully breed in him but that ridge on top of his head could indicate a retriever gene or two as well. Whatever his breed, though, he is a wonderful pet, good on a leash and eager to please his humans! He is now fully vaccinated and will be neutered when he is healthy enough for surgery.
