About Foxy

Foxy is a 1.5yr old Shiba Inu that I took in as a favor. I was told she has severe food aggression and aggression. She is getting spayed mid august in hopes to help correct this behavior. Although she's been with me for a short time I have not seen food aggression but some aggression. I also believe this 'aggression' is more fear based on the fact that she doesn't know me, is in a new environment and new dogs. She came from a household that did not put any rules on her so she does think she can walk All over you! She understands what she does wrong and as I've had her she corrects her behavior when I correct her. She needs someone with patience and someone who has experience with Shibas or strong breed dogs in general. She will need continue training once leaving my house. She is very timid but is slowly coming out her shell. She goes to the crate every morning once she started feeling more comfortable with me and wag her tail and howl/smile at me! She has a high potential of being a well mannered dog with continue training. She needs to be only dog, and no young kids or no kids in general is best. I was told she was around cats but personally have not seen her around cats myself. I can not keep her due to my other dogs and I would love to see her thrive in a environment as a single dog like she prefers. I would not want her to leave my house until she is done recovering from her spay to make it easy on her next family. She is very motivated with peanut butter. Please TEXT ME if interested.
