Mona is a sweet, cuddly and lazy girl. She could happily sleep all day cuddled up next to you on the couch or on her bed. She is also ready to play as soon as you are. Her favorite way to play fetch is to fetch the ball and bring it to you but absolutely not let you have it without a fight. Mona struggles with separation anxiety and will need to be in a crate when she is home alone as she can be destructive. Unfortunately I work a job where I am away from home for almost 12 hours a day and poor Mona is locked up during this time. If my partner is not traveling for work then she can avoid this but he is gone for weeks at a time. We've done our best to try to adapt Mona to this routine but it is not the best situation for her and it leaves me heartbroken. She needs to be in a home with family that is home at more regular times and spend time with her which is all she wants. She is shy at first but she is so loving and tender once you gain her trust. She needs training to be her best self so I suggest experienced dog owners only.
