Monterey County Shelter, Salinas, CA- Shelter overcapacity, Sweet Sr Fluffy needs a loving home, foster and Rescue to save her life, she is Rescue only for Medical HELP! X URGENT! SALINAS/MONTEREY COUNTY SHELTER IS FULL, 12 YR SWEET SENIOR CHOW GIRL WHOSE OWNER IS BELIEVED TO HAVE PASSED AWAY, AT RISK TO BE EUTHANIZED FOR SPACE IF A FOSTER (or foster to adopt) OR RESCUE IS NOT FOUND ASAP! Dear Fluffy was found as a stray, brought to the Monterey County shelter who found she is microchipped to a person who believed to have recently passed away. Fluffy is very sweet but was made Rescue only due to being a senior, has some age related medical needs to shelter wants to insure are taken care of (a dental and bloodwork). Rescues would assist with this, but rescues also need a solid foster or home for her to go to. Listed at 12 years young and still very mobile, we have videos of Fluffy enjoying being pet. We also have video showing she was tested with both smaller and medium sized dogs, both of which she was non reactive to and then walked away in typical chow fashion. We are now looking for a longer term foster or someone to foster to adopt through a rescue group we can refer them to.
