About Martha

Meet Martha! She is a sweet and loving dog with a ton of energy. She enjoys running around the yard at her current foster home and would really love to be someone's adventure buddy or jogging partner! She's a big girl with a big personality, which has posed some challenges for her older foster mom, but would be perfect for an active person or family. We aren't sure if Martha is good with other dogs, but suspect she is more well suited to live in a single dog household. In her previous life, Martha was a true stray, living on the street for several years. Despite her rocky start, she is healthy, housebroken, crate trained, and knows basic verbal commands. Martha has improved so much during her time in foster care, but is still in the process of learning to be a house dog. She would do best in a home with an experienced dog owner who is willing to give her the extra time and attention that she needs to reach her full potential. Martha is a special girl who is so ready to find her forever home after years of searching.
