OAKLEY, F, GERMAN SHEPHERD, 3-5 YRS OLD, VERY SWEET AND GENTLE diagnosis of Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency. She's been on PancreVed since mid-June, has tolerated it well, and is gaining weight (from 58 to 70 lbs so far). She is heartworm negative and has current vaccines. I don't know if she is spayed or not.%BD%A0 he's a really good dog overall! She has shown no aggression, even when she was starving and other dogs tried to get to her food bowl. When we were doing the blood tests to diagnose her, she was afraid and struggled hard against the vet tech and assistants trying to draw her blood, but she never growled or threatened them. She knows basic comands 'sit'; does well in the car and on a leash, and will poop/pee while on walks. She is affectionate and wants to be close to people. Now that shes feeling better, shes is eager to walk and even run and play. She loves to sleep on a nice dog bed and, so far, has not been inclined to tear them up. Her hips seem a little weak, but not painful. She barks/howls when shes excited, but not much otherwise. We have been through the holiday fireworks and some thunderstorms with only mild anxiety.%BD%A0 She does not react negatively to other dogs, but she mostly ignores them. Cats & children we are not sure of. She is in a foster with no cats or children to test her. %BD%A0She required a sturdy fenced in yard as she will try at times to escape. Foster is reinforcing Housetraining. If interested please fill out an applications at :https://www.partnerscanines.org/adopt
