Midnight takes life very seriously from what we can tell, and needs a sophisticated family that ponders about questions like 'Whose a good boy??' just as much as he does. We think that he has a very difficult life prior to coming to the pound, and he is not used to having life this easy. Midnight was a bag of bones when he first arrived and had hair loss all over his body from a flea infestation. Thankfully he has put on weight since then, and most of his fur has grown back. He is a very gentle character, who would mesh well in a family with kids of any age or maybe even and elderly owner that is seeking a companion. Despite being so serious most of the time, he's really just like any other dog under the surface and would like to have someone to play with and love his sweet face every day. Midnight walks pretty well on a leash already, and prefers to use the bathroom in the grass rather than his kennel if given the chance. We are hopeful that Midnight will find his forever home soon so that he can finally know what real happiness feels like. Midnight is about 3 years old and 50 pounds currently. He has received his first vaccination in shelter, heartworm status Negative
