About Koda

This sweet girl and 3 of her litter mates were dumped by my neighbor....Their dog got pregnant and had 1 female pup that they didn't want anything to do with. They left her in the backyard and ignored her. They hardly fed or watered her, They referred to her as 'the dog' or 'that dog'.. when I realized this was going on I started taking care of her.. I couldn't bring her home because I already have alot of dogs..so I take food and water to her every day. I even gave her a name, Missy. When she was old enough she started escaping their yard and of course ended up pregnant. She had 6 puppies that my neighbors also didn't want anything to do with. I have been looking for homes pretty much the day they were born and After 3 & 1/2 months only 2 found homes.. but the other 4 pups were still at my neighbors, getting bigger with no homes in site...My neighbors solution? Dump them on a dirt road on the edge of town. My husband happened to be outside and saw the neighbor leave with the 4 pups. He told me and I asked my husband to see where went with them.(I had a feeling he might dump them).My husband went looking for him and saw him coming back into town without pups so he went in the direction the neighbor came from and found the pups running down the road. He picked them up and brought them to our house but we have a lot of dogs already and do not have a place to keep them but thankfully my other neighbors who are such blessings are graciously letting us put the pups in their back yard for now. So far 2 of the four pups found homes. This sweet girl and her sister are still looking for their forever home. ** This is Koda, It means friend. (She was called McGriddle). She is very energetic and loves to chase and play in the water from the hose. She is super sweet and loves to give lots of kisses... She is smart too. She learns very fast.... *She has had her 15 week shots and has been dewormed.
