About Summer Pups - Male

Born: May 10, 2023 Meet the Summer Puppies! These youngins were born at the Cumberland Animal Shelter in Virginia on May 10th, 2023, and came to BREW a day later. They and their mom were desperate for a rescue to take them since there was no room at the shelter or any other rescue. BREW stepped up and took mom and the 7 hound puppies - 4 girls and 3 boys. They are not beagles, but they fit in well with the beagles at our kennels since they are all hounds! We did a DNA test on one of the puppies, and here are the results: 64.2% American Foxhound; 29.4% Treeing Walker Coonhound; and 6.4% Pointer. Like their mom, these puppies will grow to an estimated weight of 45-50 pounds. We like to call them 'tall beagles.' Don't let their size dissuade you from considering adopting one of these gorgeous puppies! The Summer Puppies will be ready for adoption after they receive their second set of puppy shots at about 10 weeks (mid-July).
