I have been the proud owner of Juice, a purebred Cane Corso registered with the International Cane Corso Federation (ICCF), since he was a young puppy. Throughout his life, he has consistently displayed excellent behavior and has received extensive training. However, there has been a recent development where he has begun nipping individuals, resulting in minor injuries. While Juice has never exhibited such behavior in the past, I have taken precautionary measures and confined him to ensure the safety of others. Despite this issue, I want to emphasize that Juice has never displayed any aggression towards my one-year-old child. Nevertheless, I have maintained a safe distance between them to prevent any potential harm. Based on the assessment of the professional dog trainer I consulted, Juice would be better suited for an experienced dog trainer or an individual living alone. He has consistently shown obedience and responsiveness towards me. In fact, he can be walked without a leash, and during bath time, he patiently waits for my command before shaking himself dry. It is with great regret that I find myself considering the need to rehome Juice, as I prioritize the safety and well-being of my daughter. Despite his positive qualities, the potential risk of him causing harm to her cannot be ignored. I want to ensure that Juice finds a suitable home where his qualities and training can be appreciated.
