TUX, a 2-yr-old Husky mix of an unknown beautiful exotic blend, weighs a little over 60 lbs. TUX was rescued in a nick of time from the cruel New York City kill pound where he was sentenced to death for convenience, only to end up in a prolonged boarding situation where the staff quickly fell in love with the sensitive, intelligent dog. TUX is a little shy at first but once he learns he can trust you, he'll transform into the loyal and lovable prince that he truly is! TUX is an athletic boy who loves to run and play and roll on his back in the grass, and would excel in a family with a big backyard and older kids. But he'll love to cuddle on the couch with you too! Because he's so nice, we think he could learn to live with another dog, and with a careful, gradual intro, perhaps even a cat. With a known history that began as a lost stray fending for himself on the mean streets of NYC, TUX finally deserves a loving forever family of his own.
