About Penguin

Penguin is an adorable 2 month old Bllodhound mix female who weighs about 12 pounds. Penguin is super sweet and friendly, and loves being the center of attention. Penguin is one of the biggest pups in her litter and has always been the attention seeker. She is using potty pads in her foster home and doing great. She plays well with the foster kids, dogs and cats! She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. Penguin's adoption fee will contribute to our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the Midwest. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. She is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon pick up. Should you find that she is not a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable.
