About Freya

American Staffordshire Terrier mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Meet Freya, a lovable 1-year-old short stack American Staffordshire taffy mix weighing around 35-40 lbs. She adores people, but would be better with kids 5 years and older, and is extremely cuddly. Freya gets along well with other dogs and can be a great companion for them, but she is also content being the only dog in the household. Although she is fine with cats, her playfulness and curiosity may be a bit too much for them. Freya enjoys playing fetch, but may not always give the ball back right away as she loves the chase. Despite her short stature, she has plenty of energy and enjoys outdoor activities like hiking. Freya's energy level is medium to high, but she knows when it's time to relax and loves to snuggle up next to you for affection. To thrive, Freya would need a medium to large yard, and a pool would be a bonus. She loves patrolling the yard and smelling everything around her. Freya is crate and potty-trained but can be vocal in the crate if she knows you're home. She knows basic commands but needs some work on jumping. Freya is smart and eager to learn and is motivated by treats. She is a vocal/reactive dog on a leash, but she just wants to play and make new friends. Freya is a great addition to a consistent and active family with a (fenced-in) space for her to be free. If you're interested in adopting Freya, please fill out an application at www.doggiebonez.com. You can also check out our social media pages on Instagram (@Doggie_Bonez_Inc_) and Facebook (Doggie Bonez) to see more of her cuteness. Our adoption fee for adults over 1 year, which includes vaccinations, fecal testing, wellness exams, microchipping, and spaying, is $350. If adoption isn't feasible, please consider fostering one of our pups. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dog rescue and always welcome new short or long-term doggie foster families. We will provide you with everything you need, including dog food, a bed, toys, medical attention (if required), and more.
