About Emmie Lou

We have had Emmie Lou for about a year and a half and for some unknown reason she and my lab mix are no longer getting along. She is a very sweet and loving dog, and we have no other choice but to rehome her to make sure she does not get injured again. She has just tested positive for heartworms, which the Vet believes came from her time at a local humane shelter. We have kept all vaccines up to date and also heartworm preventative. We were going to have her treated, however my lab and Emmie recently got into a fight which cost us around $800 to have her stitched up. This is the second fight in about 4 months and no one knows how it starts. We just want a good home for Emmie and feel she should not be with other dogs since we do not know how these fights start.
