About Castiel

Meet Castiel, Castiel aka Cas was surrendered due to no fault of his own but do to breed restrictions in housing on a local military base. Cas is 5 months old and knows a couple of commands. Currently Cas is working on his obedience as he pulls on leash and he is working on crate training as he's never been in a crate before. Cas is still under vet care for his ears and will be for at least the next couple of months. Cas will need a experienced owner that knows how to post ears. We will not be homing him to a inexperienced owner due to this. Cas also needs to work on his socialization skills with people and other animals so working with a trainer will be required also for adoption. Cas would prefer to have a family he can be with every day as he is a true Velcro dog and does have some anxiety issues right now with being left alone. Though since being in our care he has already came a long way and no longer barks when left alone. To adopt Cas you must be willing to work with a trainer it is mandatory if you are unwilling to do so please do not apply. Weekly visits to his vet will also be required for ear postings. Also, he will not be adopted to a home with other male dogs in the house that are large breed, small breed male dogs will be considered on a case by case basis. Pet insurance will also be highly recommended. Ear posting will need to be done weekly for at least the next 2 months.
