LUCAS: Shelter ID #A4886907 -- URGENT!!! To be EUTHANIZED close of business 6/20!!! -- Hi! I'm Lucas! I'm a 2 year old 49 pound American Staffordshire/Pitbull Mix. I came into the shelter nervous and unsure, but have warmed up to staff. I need someone who is willing to be gentle and loving with me. I was afraid of being leashed at first, but am now realizing it's no big deal and not minding it so much! I love being pet and playing with toys. I love belly rubs, and really just want to find my person!! I have moved away from reactive dogs on the other side of the fence at the shelter. I'm a lover, and respond so well and so sweetly to humans coaxing me with warmth and loves. I'm set to be euthanized because I'm struggling in my kennel. I'm licking the kennel walls and fencing because the shelter staff can only take me out on a walk every week or so. I have been sitting nicely in my kennel lately, but I guess that doesn't matter.
