About Beata

Adoption Fee: $200
Norwegian Forest Cat / Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Beata is a gorgeous and loving, one-year-old, seven-pound female golden/green-eyed, Norwegian Forest Cat-mix looking for a loving guardian. This poor girl was found living in a woman's backyard. We thought she was a feral cat, but when I opened the trap, she walked right up to me and rubbed against my legs. She loves snuggling - but on her own terms. She enjoys being groomed and is perfect with her litter box. Beata is very nervous around dogs, and she was just spayed, so we haven't tried her with other cats yet. She can be a bit feisty at times, so an all-adult home might be best for her. Beata is now extremely healthy, spayed, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines, dewormed, virus and fecal-tested negative, and micro-chipped. Sadly, she came into rescue with Pyometra, a uterine infection, which was cured with antibiotics and her spay surgery. To meet and possibly adopt Beata, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/cat-adoption-application/ After the application is complete, please contact [email protected] to schedule an appointment to meet her. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Petraits. She is currently being fostered in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.
