About Biscuits

We are looking for a very special home for a 10-year-old female Border Collie. She has been deeply loved and cared for by the same owner since she was a puppy. Unfortunately, her owner is quadriplegic and can no longer safely provide the care and environment she needs. She is a loving, loyal companion who becomes strongly bonded to her person. As she has grown older, she has become increasingly territorial and protective of her owner-particularly when nurses or caregivers approach or touch her owner. For everyone's safety, she needs: �'ۢ An experienced, patient dog owner �'ۢ A quiet, adults-only home with no children �'ۢ To be the only animal in the household �'ۢ A home with a predictable routine �'ۢ Someone who understands territorial or protective behavior and will not put her in situations where she feels threatened She is not suitable for a home with children, other dogs, or cats. She has been a wonderful and devoted dog for many years. This is an extremely difficult decision, and her owner's greatest hope is to find someone compassionate and experienced who can give her a peaceful, loving home for her senior years.
