If you are looking for a typical wheaten, shea is not it. Serious inquires only. Please send pictures of your house and yard. Shea is a pure bred 2 year old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier 30 lb puppy. PLEASE READ IMPORTANT: We bought her from a breeder at 3 months old and since then she has been experiencing a high level of anxiety and we have tried everything from dog trainers, behaviorists, medications to curb her anxiety. Medications do not work on her. She has skin issues and gets allergy shots every 6 weeks. She may have GI issues that she is on a special diet. She is a lot of work and needs space and constant attention. Shea is very much still a puppy and is super smart and knows commands like paw, lay down, bang bang and speak. She also loves to play fetch. Shea has aggression issues from food/water/toys and our other dog (which she used to be best buddies with). Shea is not an easy dog to take care of, she needs constant attention. She cannot be left alone even for a few minutes and has panic attacks out of separation anxiety. Shea is not meant to be in a city and would do a lot better in a suburban or country single home (condos and apts will not be accepted) where she won't be terrified of noise and cars and people. She has become aggressive around food/treats/bones/toys and has bitten me and has attacked our other dog several times. She SHOULD NOT live with other pets or children. She would do well in a situation that didn't have noise, and for the past year she hasn't been able to be left alone in her crate. She is very strong and will also run away if not held tightly on a leash. We live in the city and she is increasingly afraid and does not like to explore, it has been very difficult potty training her. Shea would benefit by being able to run around in a suburban, rural or county home with a gated yard and be free from the anxiety. She loves being in the grass where she can enjoy the quiet life. She is not easy but we are looking for someone to be able to take care of her with a patient, open heart, that has experience in difficult dogs like Shea.
