About Gem

Gem is a lovely 4-year-old female cat. She was surrendered by a family along with two other cats (Claribell and Pinky), by a family that had too many cats. They were unable to care for them all. Gem is trying to adjust to her new foster home, but is still a bit scared. Gem loves to be petted and we can see her affectionate side. Once comfortable in her new family her loving side will come out. She would prefer a quiet home with a very patient family who will give her time to come out of her shell. She will only be adopted as an indoor family pet. Gem has been spayed, tested negative for fe-leuk/FIV, has been dewormed and is up to date on all her shots. If Gem is adopted with another cat the adoption fee is reduced to $50 per cat plus tax.
