About Jake

Jake is looking for his forever home. He is a perfect combination of cuddly, playful, and intelligent, a Staffie/Boxer/etc. mix who loves to go on walks and hikes and who has loads of personality. He is fun to play with, but is also very laid back and lays down at your feet to chill and sleep. Jake is an adult, neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and microchipped, and we will provide Heartguard to complete his heartworm treatment. So why do we need to re-home him? He has declared war on our cat, and nothing we have done has convinced him otherwise. Our cat is an older member of our family who is a bit na��ve about dogs that do not like her. Jake needs a cat-free home with a fenced yard, a snuggly dog bed in the house, and people who love him and that he can look up to as his alpha.
