About Odie

Hi my name is Odie. I'm an oh-so-handsome, 3-year old Golden-doodlelicious boy still looking for my fur-ever home! I've been waiting and waiting for my people to find me. I love my foster family but I know my real home is out there somewhere. I can't wait to start my new life you! I've been in foster care for many months now but I've only had one family show interest in me. I don't understand this because I'm a really good boy, I'm super fun to be around and oh-so-handsome! If you're looking for love, I'm your boy! I'm really good at snuggles and I love everyone I meet. I'm super smart and eager to please. I love going for walks and car rides. I am always up for adventures and could probably be your jogging partner if you want one. My house manners are darn near perfect and I can stay alone if you need to go out. Oh, and I weigh a svelte 55 pounds. In my previous home, I spent a lot of time alone in the backyard or crated so I didn't get much socialization as a puppy. Because of this my dog greeting skills suck. If I get too close to other dogs on walks, I bark and bark at them but with help from a trainer I'm getting better. It's really easy to redirect me if you have yummy treats! The trainer says I'm not quite ready for one-on-one greetings with other dogs but the potential is there. We can get there together if you are patient and willing to help me work on this. I really am trying hard to be the best boy ever! Please come meet me. I promise you will fall in love with me!
