About Bristol

Pit Bull mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Foster to Adopt Bristol Bristol is a two and a half year old female American Staffordshire. While she is dog selective and would need to be either introduced very slowly to submissive dog, or needs to be only dog in the house, she LOVES kids. She is a big girl so she needs to be with bigger kids or kids who get back up if they get knocked down. She does not seem reactive to cats, but would need safe introduction. Bristol is in the process of being crate trained and she does very well outside of crate while away. She is leash trained and knows how to sit, shake, lay, snd stop. Bristol loves cuddles, and toys that she can chew on for long periods of time, car rides - anytime she can be with you! She does not love loud sounds, and super sudden movements. She must have your patience, love, and a given routine. Bristol would be a good apartment dog but would need some time to get used to all of the sounds that comes with closer living spaces. She might like the TV on when you leave! Bristol LOVES playing in water, she will also trust fall if she thinks that a belly rub is coming soon after, and it's adorable. She is by far one of the most cuddly dogs I've ever been around. Bristol will be great with an experienced handler. She is looking for a home that will love on her, and treat her with kindness, while also providing her structure and guidance on behavior that will help her be successful in your home. She is a best friend, best to be around older kids, young adults, so that she can be guided with love and understanding of her instincts and breed.
