Ryder had to have been someone's beloved pet at some point. He could have been missing for a while! He's about 13 years old (and showing signs of that age with the way he walks). He came in already neutered and with an old, ragged collar that looks to have been purple or brown at some point (but no microchip or tags). Our greatest hope would be to reunite Ryder with his family whom he probably loves very much. If they can't be found ( Ryder is very sweet, calm, and gentle. He walks great on a leash without pulling, but he is a slow walker. He's not much for toys or playing. All he wants to do is relax and be loved on. He's happiest when you're sitting next to him and petting him. If we can't reunite Ryder with his family we'd love to help him leave the shelter environment and get into a nice, comfy, relaxing home as soon as possible. He deserves to retire in comfort and peace - not being surrounded by noisy dogs in our chaotic shelter environment! Ryder is a 13YO Staffordshire/Lab mix who came into the shelter as a stray on 5/8/23. HE weighs 70 lbs.
